1. Acceptance
By using hichatai.app ("Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
2. The Service
Hi AI Chat is an AI character chat and roleplay platform. We provide access to fictional AI personas powered by large language models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Meta, and others.
All characters are fictional AI personas. They are not real people. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
3. Your account & conduct
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Hi AI Chat. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to harm, harass, or impersonate others
- Use AI characters to generate content that sexualizes minors, promotes violence, or violates applicable law
- Scrape, mirror, or reverse-engineer the Service
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or other users
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the messages you send. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your messages for the purpose of generating AI responses.
You are responsible for the content you generate. AI responses are generated by third-party models — we cannot guarantee accuracy or appropriateness of every response.
5. Subscriptions & billing
The free tier is — and will remain — free. Optional Pro subscription is billed monthly or annually. You can cancel anytime in your account settings. Refunds within 14 days for any reason.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranties about uptime, response quality, or fitness for any particular purpose. AI characters are not licensed professionals — do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the homepage. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
